Transition Haslemere are delighted to present the Haslemere Green Fair.
On March 27th 2010 between 11.00am and 4.00pm Haslemere Museum, both inside and outside, will become a centre of green activity.
The Fair will have a host of interesting, useful and fun demonstrations; ideas and things to do which will help us all to increase our green credentials.
So if you ever wondered about keeping chickens or bees, about wood burning stoves or how to save energy in your home then the Green Fair is the place to be.
There is enjoyment for the children as well with face painting, kids crafts and plenty of local food and drink in the mini Farmers’ Market. Best of all entrance is free.
We are also excited to have Sharon Duggan join us. Sharon will be delivering an interesting and lively talk on “Living The Green Life”.
If you want to know more about Transition Haslemere or get involved then come and talk to us at our stand and watch the official Transition Movie that will be showing during the Fair.
The Fair also marks the “Great Unleashing” of Transition Haslemere. This is a public event to mark the Official Status of Transition Haslemere with short speeches from the Mayor and Transition Haslemere. For more about how Transition Haslemere became official click here.
